The Culture Group was formed to respond to a need for art or music appreciation.  Over a period of 2-3 years, the content of our programme has evolved to embrace a diverse number of subjects relating to the arts. Our programme includes art history, gallery and theatre visits, musical concerts, poetry reading, talks and visits to places of local or regional interest.  We usually have some activity monthly, if this is in the form of a meeting or talk it is on the last Friday of the month in Llangybi Village Hall although theatre and concert visits will vary from that pattern as is governed by their schedules. Any U3A member who has expressed interest in the Culture Group will receive a copy of the planned programme, and is welcome to attend whichever topic is of interest.  We all find that the variety of things on offer enables us to dip in and out as we wish, and exposes us to aspects of the arts which we otherwise would not have chosen.  This provides us with a refreshing and interesting range of experiences and has seen our regular group numbers grow, and has introduced many new members to the U3A.
