Members Monthly Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Usk u3a organise a member meeting on several months during the calendar year, to which all members are invited. The meetings are publicised to all members in advance and appear on the website calendar with all the details.
\nThe meetings are held on the fourth Friday of the month when they are calendared and start at 2pm. They are held in either the Memorial Hall \/ Centenary Hall, Usk or Llangybi Hall, Llangybi.<\/strong>
\nMeetings are a great way for members to meet up socially, listen to a wide variety of speakers, catch up on Usk u3a business and notices over a cuppa and biscuits, sometimes delicious cake!<\/p>\n

To give a taste of our activities recently we have had speakers and activities on the following topics:
\nSpeakers-<\/strong> Poisons through the ages; Plas Gunter Mansion; Nature and Humans; Wild water swimming; a successful local crime writer to name but a few
\nA group visit<\/strong> to the Medieval Ship at Newport
\nSpecial celebration events<\/strong> with Pimms, delicious cakes and entertainment
\nAnnual team quiz<\/strong>
\nA very successful Christmas lunch<\/strong> with entertainment by members<\/p>\n

We are always open to new ideas for speakers, demonstrations and engaging topics for our members.<\/p>\n
